ABOUT ME
Music has always run through my veins! Ever since I was using the seat
belt as a guitar in the back of my dad’s car, I have known I was
destined to be in the biggest band on the face of the earth. When I
was a lad I was just into footy but after having my dreams dashed at
the tender age of 18 when I realised I couldn’t kick a ball straight,
I decided to try something else. Going to Uni was the something else
and whilst there I took up the guitar like a duck takes to water and
then realises he can not swim. Just jammed with the dudes I lived with
for the three years I was there.

After finishing Uni last July, I started singing and getting pissed
with the beautiful people in the band. I had always planned to go around
the world in October of that same year so just as we started to sound
cool I headed off for the bright lights of South Africa. Revisiting
Vietnam with my buddies in the 101st Airborne is probably the hardest
thing a man can do. God dam it, there was Charlie all over the place.

I’ve been back home now for over a year now and the new and improved
Stines sound fucking amazing. With ‘JV’ on the guitar giving us
the feel of a band who raise there two fingers up at everyone, ‘Vince’
(after me) with arguably the best hair cut in rock’n'roll since Caleb
put his hair behind his ears and ‘one take Floyd’ having two pints of
strong larger and going fucking mental, we have all the ingredients
to get as many groupies as possible, and with the others all happily
married off I hope to be averaging two a night!
